six years ago a group of Hastings area "car people" wanted to resurrect a show in their Brickyard Park that was no longer held. It was called the "Melon Roast" for some reason - maybe because they served water melon. When approaching the city they found out they needed to be a club or organization to get the park - so they formed a new club -- the Melon Roasters. They now have over 100 members. Real nice people too!

Registration is from 10 to 12 -- Show and shine ends at 4:00. Brickyard park offers a great show location with grass, trees, music, food and vendors -- Entry fee is the most reasonable you will find. For more information contact Steve Cropley at 402-463-8370 or Dave Schawang at 402-469-9828
