Registration

  • This is a "member benefit" event - we welcome you to join NRCA and participate.

Registration is closed

This show is for NRCA members and is offered without charge.   Non members are welcome for a show fee of $15.   It is held in the 1890's re-creation of a railroad town in the Stuhr Museum in Grand Island. If you are not a member you can join for $15 and then register free.   Free also means you get into the Stuhr Museum grounds without an admission fee.

This is handled differently than most shows.  First we very much need you to pre- register.  Next we open for participants at 10:00 AM and close at 12:00.  Most people line up in the Central Community College just across the road -  We operate two gates -- one for pre registered and another for those who have not.   If you pre register, you will receive a registered form via email a few days prior to the event.  Just print it out and hand it to us and then roll into Railroad town almost as one big group.   If you do not there will be another registration line./gate.  We can take registrations/membership at the gate but you will be put off to the side and it will be slower.  At this gate non members can register for the $15 show fee.

Once in, you will be able to park around the many 90+ historic buildings.  Lots of shade and some very good photo opportunities.

Railroad town has a number of working exhibitors such as a blacksmith and each will make a  period correct trophy to be awarded to their choice of vehicle.  Food is available in Railroad Town at the Silver Dollar Cafe.   We will have live music from Tim Mohanna  in the Railroad Rail Station and there will be a poker walk that afternoon as well.  Also there is much to see and do as the entire museum is open and available for you to go through.  The staff and management are excited to have us come and we need to show up and impress them.   Ten awards created by the craftsmen in railroad town will be given out at 3:45. You won't find a better value for your time.
