NRCA in working with the operators of Kearney Raceway Park has developed a unique event, which is free to NRCA members.  We do require that you pre-register.  New members welcome - just go to the "Join Us" tab and complete the membership application.  Then, return here and register.  

    Check in will be from noon to 2:00 and you will receive a complimentary pit pass for the day.  A special parking area will be set up for a car show. At 2:00 there will be a 45 minute session on drag racing -- how the lights work, how to stage your car and what the information on the time slip means. This will be followed by some free time for you to look over the race cars and watch a few time trails.  Or, if you want,and for a fee you will be able to take your vehicle through tech inspection and provided you pass, make some time trials yourself.

    Then at approximately 4:30 you can line up for a "track cruise" .  Not a chance to race, but to come up to the starting line and drive through.  We hope to have a photographer taking pictures and those will be for sale too.

   After the track cruise, our event is officially over but they race until midnight and you are welcome to stay as long as you want.  Food and beverages are available at the track.  It is a chance for unique and free event - see you at the Drags?
